Dear parents,
As you may have noticed despite the weather, it is time to plan for summer! Attached you will find information regarding our summer camp program here at Concordia. Our summer camps offer interesting themes, experienced staff, fun field trips, and lots of outside time, so kids will feel that they are getting a vacation too!
This summer, we will offer three different classrooms. The first class is for our youngest preschoolers, housed in the Teddy Bear class. This class will enjoy weekly themes including Caterpillars and Butterflies, Hawaiian Luau, and Western Days! In addition to our regular activities, we will enjoy cooking on Mondays, a trip to Viewridge Park on Tuesdays, a field trip on Wednesdays, bike day on Thursdays, and water day on Fridays. Our second class is for our older preschoolers who will be entering kindergarten in fall 2009, and this class will meet in our Bumble Bee class. This class will enjoy the same great themes as the younger class, with walking trips to Viewridge Park on Mondays, bike days on Tuesdays, cooking on Wednesdays, a field trip on Thursdays, and water day on Fridays. Plus lots of arts and crafts and fun every day!
Our third class is for children entering grades 1 through 6 in the fall. This class will meet in our cottage for age appropriate activities. Themes include Xtreme survivor with a trip to Stone Gardens climbing wall, Super Sports, and Amazing Art. This class will enjoy swimming at Meadowbrook pool on Mondays and Fridays, a big field trip each week on Tuesdays, bring your bike (or scooter) day on Wednesdays, and cooking on Thursdays.
As you can see, we will have a lot of fun! If you are interested in signing your child(ren) up, please return the attached registration form as soon as possible to Mrs. Hartman or Kristen Okabayashi to reserve a spot.
